Felix Chan is the Curtin Business School Representative for the Curtin Institute for Computation

Felix Chan (FMSSANZ; PhD; PGDipSc; BEc (Hons I); B.C.M) is an Associate Professor at the School of Economics and Finance, Curtin Business School. He was the former Head of Department of Finance and Banking at Curtin University and the former Head of Department of Econometrics and Quantitative Modelling. Felix has published over 75 articles in peer reviewed journals and proceedings, which include prestigious journals such as: Journal of Econometrics; Econoemtric Theory; Econometrics Reviews and Journal of Applied Econometrics. He has been awarded multiple research grants, including a Discovery Project Grant and a Linkage Grant from the Australian Research Council as well as a research grant from the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority. Felix also has consulting experiences with both public and private sectors including Commonwealth Grant Commission, WA Department of Treasury and Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WA). He is also an elected Fellow from the Modelling and Simulation Society of Australia and New Zealand (MSSANZ) and an associate editor of Mathematics and Computers in Simulation.
