Christian Proud

Christian holds a Bachelor of Geophysics with first-class honours from Curtin University. His honours thesis focused on optimising mathematical inversion and data preconditioning for reservoir characterisation of the CO2CRC Otway Geosequestration Project.

After finishing his studies, he worked at a geophysical technology company, specialising in the mathematical inversion of seismic data. Within this role, he provided project-based consultancy to the resources industry and was involved in developing proprietary software and custom algorithms.

Christian joined the CIC in January 2022 as a software developer to provide tailored software solutions to both industry and research partners.
