Vladimir Puzyrev

Vladimir Puzyrev is Senior Research Fellow at Curtin Oil and Gas Innovation Centre (COGIC) and School of Earth and Planetary Sciences

Vladimir Puzyrev is a senior research fellow at the Curtin University Oil and Gas Innovation Centre and School of Earth and Planetary Sciences of Curtin University. His recent research focuses on applying deep learning in geophysics, in particular geophysical inversion. His research interests also include computational electromagnetics, numerical methods for PDEs, sparse linear solvers, and high-performance computing.

Before Vladimir moved to Perth, he worked as a postdoctoral and senior researcher at Barcelona Supercomputing Center. His work there was focused on research and the development of parallel algorithms for 3D modelling and inversion of geophysical data.
